The Weekend that was NPS 1 Cahir '10 

It all started on Friday with the migration of the Flow congregation down to Cahir on a mild and sunny day.

Flow Racing’s Seanan O Riordan made the trip over the Portugal in March to get some pre-season racing in where he obtained some great results. First at the Maxxis Cup in Gouvia Seanan finished a very creditable 7th place only 16 seconds off former world champion Gee Atherton.

Round 3 of the Winter Series brought us to the famous Moneyscalp Woods, Co. Down. The track was almost bone dry in places due to the nice weather in the week leading into Chain Reactions event. The track was quite short, not much change from 2009s race track. Some liked it, other disliked. The track held up well on Saturday and after a good days practice from all, it was wrapped up and got prepared for race day. 

As I left Kildare on Saturday morning it was Baltic to say the least but I was looking forward to another good race weekend and also getting my new Fox 40's from James! Arriving in convoy with Damo the roads were covered in a film of ice which was sure to make things interesting! After walking the track for an hour, so that the elements had a chance to get above 0 and hopefully the middle section would change from a skating rink to something rideable.We got ready and headed for the start.

Well - what a weekend!! Mighty craic and a good bit of training with 7 runs on Saturday and 4/5 on Sunday! Track for me was great fun nothing difficult but still a little hard to get fast as there was a good bit of pedaling and some parts where you just had to trust your tyres.Tom and I were hard and left on the highrollers but everyone else were on the spikes come Sunday!

The Flow Racing race team for the 2010 has been finalised with a few additions to the team such as Gavin Doran and Kevin Moran  joining us in the Master Catagory for 2010, Donough O Brien in the Junior Catagory and young Ben Kennedy in the Under 14 Catagory.All of these new members will be flying the Flow Racing flag in 2010.

Overall Flow Racing will be increasing its club size in 2010 to a total of 19 riders.

Flow Racing will begin its 2010 season with the first winter league in Bree,Co.Wexford kicking off this weekend, on the 17th of January.
