Irish NPS Round 6 - Waterford

The final round of the Irish NPS takes place in Waterford on 4/5th October 2008.

Track Description.
Out of the start gate, off a rock drop, into small bomb hole, jump out over rocks into small double, off small stepdown, over set of rollers into gap jump (2meters), right hand berm over rock garden, left to right hand berm, rollers through bomb hole, hip out to left hand berm, jump into right hand berm over small hip to right left hander into more rollers, some rocks into the ‘S’ bends over double, into long open left hander, to rock garden to off camber rocks, down a compression into a rock drop, line choice into double drop into left hand berm, over more rocks into some tight rooty corners then jump into the open, with some fast corners until the 7 switch backs, a bit of off camber, over a step down back into the woods with 2 tight corners and step down into FINISH… All the jumps and drops have alternative routs around them.
Average times will be just over the 2.00min mark.

Directions Will be sign posted from the N25 where the road works are.
From the west
Go through Waterford and look for signs to Rosslare, from the roundabout at the bridge beside the train station, the turn off is approx 5 miles. Turn right onto the N29 (belview port road) take first left off it, follow that road all the way to the bottom of the hill until you come to a ‘T’ junction, take a right there, up the top of the next hill will bring you to a ‘y’ junction, take a left there, follow that hill to the top and you will see the signs for the race.
From the east (if going through New ross)
Follow signs to Waterford until you see the turn off to the N29 (belview port road) turn left onto it take first left off it, follow that road all the way to the bottom of the hill until you come to a ‘T’ junction, take a right there, up the top of the next hill will bring you to a ‘y’ junction, take a left there, follow that hill to the top and you will see the signs for the race.
